Deborah Gaines, PRESIDENT

A graduate of Yale (B.A.) and Columbia (M.A.) universities, Deb started her career with a master’s degree in 17th century literature and a boundless enthusiasm for the written word. Clients value her clarity, humor, and ability to seize the heart of the matter and create persuasive arguments on their behalf.

Deb’s writing has been featured in The New YorkerThe American LawyerSalonHuffington Post, and the New York Post, among others. After making the switch from journalism to marketing, she worked as communications manager for the New York City Convention & Visitors Bureau, chief marketing officer for LeBoeuf, Lamb, Greene & MacRae LLP, and executive director of marketing and communications for Montclair State University.  She is also a sought-after speaker and workshop facilitator.

OLIVIA RUBINO-FINN, PROJECT MANAGER

Olivia oversees editorial projects and supervises the creation of best practices editorial and marketing copy. Her clients include McKool Smith, Schiffer Hicks Johnson, Lowenstein Sandler, and Girard Sharp, as well as Vanderbilt University, Adelphi University, and CUNY’s Graduate Center. In her previous work in theatre management and producing, Olivia contributed to a diverse array of theatrical pieces, from acclaimed Broadway productions to world premieres off-off-Broadway.

MARK SULLIVAN, WRITER

Mark is a content consultant and creator for major corporations like Amazon, Epson, and Elo. His writing (appearing in Forbes and other business publications) has been nominated for a prestigious Lowell Thomas Prize. At Penguin Random House, he edited or contributed to more than 200 books. His latest book, "Best Weekend Road Trips," was published in October by Fodor's Travel.

JAMES COKORINOS, MARKETING AND SOCIAL MEDIA ASSISTANT

James, a rising master’s student in public policy at the University of Connecticut, assists in the development, execution, and management of marketing and communications projects. He brings an extensive background in social media to his work at DGA, including copywriting and digital design.
